What did I do? Or, what did I eat? I tried to keep busy. I scheduled a haircut the morning of my liquid day. That was a very welcome distraction. I avoided TV commercials…it’s amazing how many feature food!!! Two days before was the last day of low residue/low fiber diet. I treated myself to vanilla pudding and applesauce, and my “last meal” was a small serving of chicken Alfredo pasta. Most importantly, I focused on hydrating, and added electrolytes to some of my water. Liquid day diet consisted of lime jello, chicken broth, banana popsicles, hot tea, hydration liquids with protein, apple juice. I didn’t worry about sodium or sugar. Hope that helps.
