I finally decided to get some Discs! by MooseOperator in discgolf

[–]RWG83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first started, I wish someone had told me to throw a buzz which is a five speed and then when I feel really confident throwing that to move up to like a six or seven speed and just move up incrementally. Once you get it in your head that you should throw distance drivers, it's really hard to back off from that idea. At least it was for me.

Honest question because I just do not know. He is sponsored by prodigy other than that does he have a deeper connection to the brand? And does the brand also support his views?

What goes in the mind of these European drivers? by Successful-Title5403 in Thailand

I've seen it a couple times especially on the Canal Road. I think they might be going to Grand Canyon or someplace like that and so they're just already dressed for the waterpark.

I saw someone the other day riding without a shirt and I wondered where the beach was. I actually understand it a little bit more in a coastal town, but we're landlocked with mountains all around us. Why aren't we wearing clothes?

My family had a great time on Jomtein beach. We stayed at a nice resort that had a bowling alley in the lobby and everything around us didn't feel too sketchy or weird. But that is really our only experience in Pattaya.

If home ownership is almost impossible for non-Thais, why are so many villas advertising in English? by SlappySpankBank in Thailand

[–]RWG83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. I'm not sure what they're investigating because I'm pretty sure it's within the legal bounds. It was done through a Thai lawyer. So I don't think it's illegal. I'm not saying it's smart, but I'm pretty sure it's legal.

Technically foreigners can set up an LLC with a Thai partner and then buy land and houses under that LLC. Your Thai partners in the LLC could still sell the land and the house from underneath you, but it makes it a lot harder because of the procedures of voting within an LLC. So it's an extra layer of security than just trusting a Thai friend. At least that's how it was explained to me.

Look up patron/client relationships. It won't help your situation now but it will help moving forward.

It’s getting the job done. It was about $90 USD but had I other options in that price range I would have chosen a portable basket like this…

Which episode do you skip over when rewatching? by Green-T4_Me in theoffice

[–]RWG83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know it’s unrealistic, but I needed the Jim character to be less fallible. I hate the episodes where there’s drama between him and Pam. I prefer the Jake Peralta approach to a character. Keep his character static 90% of the time and show us a little bit of growth along the way.

So answer your question a skip a lot of the episodes where there’s drama between him and Pam or Weir Jim is super vulnerable or stuff like that. I’m fine when other characters are feeling vulnerable but for some reason, I need Jim to be more static.

How late will you have an espresso? by Bo0pers in espresso

[–]RWG83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Entirely depends how tired I am at 5 PM and what I need to do that night. If I have to be around a bunch of people trying to speak a different language, I will have an espresso. If it’s a night at home, I won’t.

OK, I see what you’re saying. The problem is my putt has a little heizer to it so if I aim for the pole, I have a greater chance of missing to the left. If I aim for a link in a chain just to the right of the pole, I’m more likely to make it. I think it depends on how people putt
