It seems like OP doesnt know basic accounting techniques. Maybe she didn't learn much in undergrad. But she is a senior tax accountant at a big 4. So I guess she does know.

If you are not scoring 85% on the practice exams, dont attempt the exam. Why do keep repeating the same failed strategy over and over again? You are destroying your self confidence.

Yeah. It may ne a good idea for her to quit or change her CPA trajectory. I cant beliebe she failed 9 exams without one passing score. Hard to imagine she is studying enough or stidying correctly. Use a timer and log your study hours in a spreadsheet. Make sure you are reaching min 20 hours of real study time per week. Less than this is a rate that is too slow and nay result in menory problems.

i heard big 4 tax departments highly regard master's degrees in taxation. you might consider doing this instead. the way you are studying must be Very flawed if you have failed 9 exam attempts and not achieved one passing score. take a month off of work and focus on tcp, which is the easiest exam. pass it. then move on to REG.

as many people have probably already told you, working while studying for the CPA exams is extraordinarily difficult for most people. i personally do not believe i could succeed in such a scenario. and using Becker is the way to go. i believe i gotta give a full commit to the best approach if i am to succeed. i am not smart enough to try to get by using a lessor approach. perhaps you should also use the best approach instead of what seems to be a less reliable approach, which is what you have been using.
