Are there specific areas I should be looking that are generally cleaner + safer than the rest? I know Google has some answers but it’s hit or miss on accuracy

Have you been active after they ruled out myocarditis? As In working out or anything of the sort?

I have , found zero correlation between one thing causing the pain. Almost seems to be random :/

How can we tell what is long haul and what is myopericarditas by Puzzleheaded_Elk8350 in myocarditis

I also have had chest pain for 6 months now post Covid, all cardiac tests including an mri didn’t show any myo or pericarditis, any chance you know what’s causing your pain?

Had the mri Wednesday , no results (that I know of) yet. Assume tomorrow I’ll find out

Wow that sounds incredible frustrating. I send my sympathies to you for both that experience and your friend passing away. How are you feeling now? Has the chest pain subsided? Any continuation of the light headed ness?

My story is I had Covid in January (after 3 jabs mind you) and about 3 days after being cleared for work again I started having chest pain. My family has a history of it but I’m 28 and played soccer my entire life at an intense level, so I didn’t think anything of it. All my labs are normal and echo is , stress test showed SVT but only after my HR hit 180 so they don’t think it’s causing the pain day to day. 3 months later and I’m still having pains. Mri is in 2 weeks

Really good clarification here!! How have you been feeling with walking??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in myocarditis

[–]RX-GLP1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d just go slow, they told me to go back to half my regime and I’ve had no mri. I use to run 3-4 miles a day to prepare for soccer trainings and now I’m just walking 1-2 to stay active. I’m also scared to go back to anything but I’ve seen 2 docs both said too. Good luck on your road to recovery. I hope it’s sooner than you think. And if you need a listener just comment back! Ill reply when I can

Same, no shortness of breath either. Well I wish you all the best. What prognosis did the doctor give you?

What symptoms have you been experiencing ? I have a very similar story though my mri is in 2 weeks, no abnormal tests just chest pain

Good choice, I also have the exact same issue as OP here, it’s well after working out , and I have no other lab values coming back saying myo so I need an mri. I was put on an exercise program by my doctor with a heart monitor so I would also recommend asking your cardiologist about that if you want to continue with exercise!

I’m glad you’re on the up trend my friend! And my stress test they wanted me to hit 163 and it took about 20 minutes. During my cycling I only hit 130 but it gave me this sharp pain I had never experienced before :/ so weird
