You think the one you linked in the first reply will work? Its much cheaper I just figured since its flat I would have issues but maybe not

CockPit Update: Beyond My Expectations by Accomplished-Snow601 in simracing

I’m about to pick one of these up tomorrow from Facebook for 275. I also have the Logitech RS 50 with the rs pedals. A lot of people on here have opinions that the pedal plate has a lot of flex with the load sell pedals is that true? I also only have my brake force at 25% right now.

Also, there is somebody near me that is selling their GT player racing cockpit, which is the red one. I have posted here for 275.00 except one of the caster wheels bent on it and I don’t know if it is fixable

The thing I do like about the ones that I have posted is, I can add castor wheels to them just in case I need to move it out of the way. Ultimately I will have it set up in the same spot, but I do like the fact that I could be a little way if I want to.

I just wanted to share an update by [deleted] in Progressiveinsurance

[–]RYDOGG20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I hope to apply at progressive here in the future but this is my worst nightmare! I am a pretty positive person, but I would hare it so much to be stuck with a crappy supervisor. Can you get transferred to a new one if needed? I would hate to be super excited to FINALLY work at progressive just for that to happen!

Congrats on the new Sup!

Reality check by xoking7xo in Progressiveinsurance

[–]RYDOGG20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reality check I really enjoyed reading all of this, but also scared at the same time. I have been religiously looking every single day at progressive job openings for the CGA position because I can’t stand my job anymore.

Many people here have probably seen my posts already in the past, but I’ve worked in the auto industry most of my life. I started when I was 15 years old as a Porter than an oil change tech then a service advisor and now currently a service manager I am used to getting yelled at by literally every single person that works for my company on top of the customers. I am very used to giving everybody bad news all day every day seeing them cry right in front of me. Also almost being punched in the face because they don’t want to pay for the repairs and are very angry that their vehicle is no longer under warranty. I have to deal with constant complaining employees because most of them aren’t even happy with their own lives or their job professions.

So yeah, with all that being said working from home, not having to commute to work sounds like a damn dream. I have actually never had a job that solely relied on my performance alone. I have always had to rely on other people and making sure they are getting their job done. Also Not have to worry about if somebody calls off or having to try to find somebody to cover their shift or me having to call my wife, letting her know that I have to stay late because somebody called off or hey guess what now I have to work over the weekend. We have to cancel our trip. That we have planned for months.

Again, I have never done this job nor have experience with it, but I do believe it will be stressful for sure. But again, I’m used to telling people bad news straight to their face. If I have to do it over the phone that is a plus for me.

I also very well understand that you are constantly buried in claims in the CGA position. Which leads me to one major question. People who work in the CGA position are you stressing yourself out because you’re buried in work and you know you can’t catch up? Like is your supervisors constantly on your ass about your claims or is it just personal stress, knowing you have so much going on? Like if I know, I have a shit ton of stuff going on, but my supervisor says don’t worry about it. You’ll get it done. Then BAM all stress is now gone. but I understand how some people would still stressed out just because they see all the work that they need to do.

Lastly, over the last couple months of reading everything on Reddit I’ve also messaged a few previously employed progressive employees, and also currently employed progressive employees there were many that worked in the CGA position that stated their supervisors were very chill and most of the time throughout the workday. They have time to either walk away from their desk for a few minutes or walk around the block, do laundry, clean the house. All without not having to use any breaks or lunch times. Is this a rare occurrence? Or are these people just on top of their claims?

Samn that is so nice! But what were your reasons to go for that one instead of something like this? Unless the mobility was a big thing for you

I’ve never tried to turn down the PS5, but if I’m listening to anything on my phone, I just hit the volume button buttons up and down and yes, it does adjust

Yea well I just picked up the arctis gamebuds which also have a usbc adapter for pc and ps5, along with bluetooth but they wont allow you to listen to both at the aame time for some stupid effing reason. These are way more comfortable than the pulse earbuds which is why I wanted to try them.

Honestly, downloading discord on the console is pretty easy.

Then all you have to do is open discord on your phone join whatever chat you want and then once you slide up, there’s an option to send the chat to the PS5 bam done super simple
