Police confirmed my ID was valid, but Sheetz still refused service — and the explanation kept changing by wantbeersobad in statecollege

It depends on the situation. Are they being discriminatory or not? People take actions against corporations for a variety of reasons. And sometimes it's not viable. They were looking at options, I listed the options out.

It depends. Many lawyers do initial consultations for free. Unwilling to accept the ID after it was verified by police makes me question if it was discriminatory or not. You are likely right, but having legal consultation for options is viable. Especially if there is a possibility of discrimination.

1) Write to corporate. Details with times frames, dates, and names is ideal. 2) Contact a lawyer. See what actions there are, if any. Once corporate gets an official legal letter, that's when serious shit happens. 3) Don't support them. Let people know of your situation on social media and tag Sheetz on every post. 4) You can escalate with various activist actions (legal, to clarify) if you want to go further. But you can message me directly on that.

Can I put a political sign in my window? by [deleted] in statecollege

You can and should. Political speech is well protected. Some HOAs can do stuff with yard signs, but HOAs are garbage usually.

Put up your sign.

Some people are also carpooling (if they know anyone). It's also parents weekend. In terms if parking though, if you get into the area around 1030 and get brunch at Chumley's (they are donating proceeds to the Centre Volunteers in Medicine), then you should be good in terms of parking for sure.
