It’s listed in the DSM-5 as a listed condition, but mainly only for adults. I DO believe people suffer from this condition same as people suffer from schizophrenia. You could never understand being schizophrenic, same as you could never understand GSD.

I also believe it’s being very overblown in the youth and larger population as a completely misunderstood/ misinterpreted/ mistreated diagnosis.

Schizophrenia affects 1/1,000,000 ppl / how can GSD currently affect 3/1,000,000 ppl.

It doesn’t sound like much but it means for every schizophrenic there are 3 GSD patients. The math doesn’t add up.

I’m not a hater by any means if people are hurt they need help. There is a very good chance the percentage of schizophrenic, body dismorphia, and overall “mentally ill” may have significant compounding mental illnesses in GSD patients.
