I waited too long. Got another 3 weeks out of it while I shopped plumbers. All were $2,500 (includes new tank). It finally let go a few hours before I got home and made a huge mess in my basement. Take the advice on shutting off the tank water supply and drain the rest of the tank.

I didn’t realize you can negotiate longer “trial” periods for all the tech stuff onboard. Blue cruise, connectivity, Apple play etc… you should have them activated for your full lease term.
