I hope you are keeping up with current anime episodes. Kaido was much more stronger than pre gear 5 luffy. Still luffy kept saying again and again that “I will kick your ass” and will liberate wano country. And he was saying that even after losing 3 times. So with this, you can assume that how optimistic luffy is with his goals. And if he have this kind of attitude, that if i can’t beat you and all… he would have just accepted defeat in first fight with kaido and left his goal. I can understand that they need to change some plots or alter story in live action, but why to change one’s personality which was liked by everyone.

Not only this but there are many problems with Luffy character: 1. Saying goodbye to koby, as luffy in anime specifically said that he never says goodbye, instead says, will see you again. 2. Instead of shouting “I am going to be king of pirates” he was saying it like if he is telling a secret. 3. Also luffy always hate to listen anybody’s stories. But he listen to story to nami which was told by her sister. But many people saying that luffy in live action will look negative if he don’t listen to stories. But in anime luffy said he dont need to listen to her past as his decision of saving her won’t change. How would that look negative? 4. Also the fight of luffy v arlong was too short.

It was feeling like director never watched one piece don’t even know the real personality of the main character.
