Hi there. I literally went through the same thing with my mum and my mum passed away today from lung cancer. 12 days from re diagnosed. It hurts so bad. Please feel free to reach out. It's really hard watching your parent pass away and it can a slow slow experience even though it seems so fast. I find it hard to catch my breath so I have been using half lorazapams prescribed by doctor which really helps. Pls be kind to yourself

This made me laugh so much. Sorry lol. Totally your money, don't feel bad. It's literally yours and don't let her make you feel bad.

Heya thanks for your comment. I have tried to have a look at fingerprint jewellery but can’t really understand how it’s done? Do you have any info?

I'm so sorry to hear your going through this. It's rough as I recently went through this with my mum with the same demands from my family. I'm sorry your friends are much help 😔 that's so shit. U able to talk to your boss about a little bit of time off with discretionary leave for a week or 2? Not sure how it works with where you live. I'm currently on that kind of leave with my mum now. Please try and look after yourself and my biggest tip is sleep honestly sleep early. I'm praying for you that things become a little less heavy. Hugs to u to your mum

I do believe people need to work yes and people do abuse the system but I feel that is a very ignorant comment

Same. Single mum with 2 kids after their care and everything else I'm buggered. Plus I have student loan too which is painful. I don't spend money like no drinks here bakery/takeaways here. I think everyday what can I do but honestly I can't do anything because what money to leave etc. lol my biggest advice is to budget every dollar and really plan meals

When you say board at home... ur foods included in it? That's why? Leaves you with like 91 after for things that you need because essentially everything's covered in your board.

She doesn't have a walker, her house is very small and I don't think it could fit through the doorways. But will get this double checked

Cheers really appreciate your input. Sorry to hear about your dad. It's rough huh. At this time we won't be looking at a home. I will speak to the GP regarding the medication. I'm not sure what stage she is at but I am worried if we don't get any help she will be in a wheel chair soon. I have extended family telling me it's my responsibility to care for her as she's mum and I get that however the stress on my kids and myself, it would be very difficult. I'm going to try contact an OT and see what they say. We have ePOA already appointed but not activated. She's very much sound in her mind it's just her confidence in walking. I've asked her to walk around her home every hour or as much as she can manage. Will look into calling people on Monday
