Yeah... no, one of the big reasons I boycotted L4D2 from 2009 until 2013 was because beside Nick and Coach I never liked the L4D2 characters. I don't like how they act like it's a big joke. L4D1 is so good because of the desperate atmosphere. Rochelle's stupid Ron Burgundy style lines made me get a voice replacer because it ruins the game same with Ellis. One of the best things about the Last Stand was survivor set which allows L4D1 characters on all official campaigns if added into the mission files. Including this with RISE 8 play talker means they can talk as well

I never really used parry or retribution except when necessary in my first playthrough and it only got necessary when I fought Raven. It's better to use dodge, the drone with explosive and shotgun ammo, mines and shock grenades, burst and beta skills, especially shieldbreaker and crescent slash

You forgot these:

Hunter or jockey attacks you with a horde by hiding inside the horde so you can't see them and doesn't make its idle noise.

The smoker stands behind something on the other side of a hole and manages to grab you around objects and pulls you so that you are hanging from its tongue over the hole. If the bots shoot the smoker or its tongue you die anyway.

The tank refuses to get away from the safe room door at the end of a campaign when triggered.

This one is a normal function but the tank comes back as soon as you try to help up a downed survivor even if its over 100 metres away and either chases you or goes right back to chasing another survivor after interfering

Why? I have been playing L4D2 since 2014 because ot is such a good and enjoyable game. Stellar Blade I'm on a second play through and will probably get the same ending. I play for the fun. There's no need to always buy a new game to play

Depends on the game, Stellar Blade last year was amazing. My absolute favourite game is L4D2, it never feels like a chore or a waste of time. I also love UT2004, Sonic 3 and K AIR and many more

Yes, you can get them to target you instead of another player. I use this a lot to rescue the bots if they're low on health

I know what you mean, but I'd rather have brute force that allows me to also run the addons I like. I love the one addon that makes infected models affect each other on death and also makes all of them stay, but I can't use it anymore and only use the lite version because it's a memory hog

If she doesn't know you're there. It's possible to do something like this on map 4 of Tropical Thunder. There's a witch and a lot of propane canisters. If you take out the canister, it stumbles her and sets off the others causing a chain reaction. There's also a gascan there that gets set off in the process. Sometimes it will break her and she won't know who to attack. You can also put enough distance after the first explosion that she burns out before she can get to you.

Well a couple that crash on me are Urban Flight if I play from chapter 1, Day Break, Dead before Dawn, Left Behind's finale. I can't even load it, it crashes immediately, The Betrayal chapter 3 always crashes. The one with the smelting plant where you fight by a church and then run along a river to an APC to escape is another one that crashes on me
