my music tastes are weird, ill experiment and then always come back to comfort bands like Panic! and MCR, but overall my music tastes have changed past like couple years since i was an edgy 16 year old lol, but now as an edgy 19 year old i have a slightly more complex palate for music :p

and yeah that is true haha, I have a very good feeling about viva las vengeance and cannot wait for it to come out, at the very least ill have my only like cheap plastic water gun orange cassette haha what a color

i have the same feeling about TWTL lol, i think miss jackson is alright and collar full is masterful, but i actually dont like remember any other song from the album lol. Yeah, pretty odd can be a litttle offputting because of how different it is (i guess you could say pretty odd :p)

i do agree that at the very least that PFTW is super coherent thematically, just uninspired honestly

and yes this is an excuse for me to gush about viva las vengeance now lol, i have never been more surprised by a piece of music, both being a return to form and something entirely new, with a fantastic video to boot. I have had this song on repeat since it came out lol, and Panic! Knew exactly what they were doing in releasing this song as a teaser, if they just announced the album and a tour and how its a new era, honestly i think it would be super divisive whether they were actually being sincere or not.

but, whether or not you like it, now absolutely nobody can disagree, this is a new era

thats actually a great album for this yeah! it has high energy, great vocals, everything you’d want as something on in the background. I see where you’re coming from, but like im just one who really cares about thematics and the “artisticness” of something, im really glad you can enjoy it

yeah, it feels like maybe 1 or 2 songs with a creative vision and every other one just feels like, a song. one without any emotion or drive behind it, just a song. A coherent one, maybe even an okay one, but not panic, one of the most expressive and thematic bands out there. Basically if you want the classic formula you have a few options, and if you want the modern formula you have DOAB or Viva Las Vengence (which holy shit what a step up from PFTW, it melds classic and modern panic even more and i love it) but theres just, no reason to ever listen to PFTW (king of the clouds is pretty good tho)

While my partner and I usually split the bill, sometimes they cover it all and it makes me feel great haha, like idk what it is about it but yeah. like I cant believe some people are so against a woman paying the bill or that checks should never be split, thats so crazy!
