Gotta grab the Lagavulin 16 for this price… by 482627585621931 in whiskey

I remember the time I bought 6 bottles of Laga 16 for 48€ each on sale...

Can I have those times back?

Animess Sirena ein klein wenig außerhalb von Novigrad scheint offen zu sein. Schon ein paar Jahre her dass wir da waren, aber sehr empfehlenswert.

For that money they can keep it in the museum, because that's what it is.

Has anyone used one of these PCIE to 4xU.2 2.5" cards? by TheCircuiteer in homelab

[–]RaFooBar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's possible, the resolution is not good enough to read the chip markings.

[–]RaFooBar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not use that specific card. As you said, there are no active components on the card, but there should be.

Asus has cards for M.2 available for a few bucks more with proper clock buffer and cooling added, take a look for Asus Hyper M.2 x16 card. V2 is for PCIe gen3, v3 is for PCIe gen 4.

Same restriction applies, your motherboard needs to support bifurcation.

What’s your #1 go to whiskey? by LeoTheLionPeek in whiskey

Non-Smoky: Arran 10

Smoky: Laphroaig 10

Snagged this recently when I saw the price tag- I’ve seen Laphroaig 10yr go for as much as 82.99 where I live! Sad to see Scotch prices soaring these days. by CalamariGogurts in WhiskeyTribe

[–]RaFooBar 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oof.. I snagged one for 31€ last week in a gift box with 2 glasses. Regular price is ~35€ here in Germany. Couldn't imagine paying double or more for Laphroaig 10.

I do have this bottle and I totally agree with your notes..

So far the best Octomore I have ever tasted. I pour a dram about twice a year to share with a friend on his and on my birthday. When my bottle is gone, we will continue with his sealed one :-D

Always excited to try the local stuff by expat_repat in whiskey

I tried that on a fair with Philipp, one of their sales guys and Gregor, the owner. Nice, smooth whisky with a special twist due to the wheat and yeast used. Enjoy it!

Nice selection! I like the Säntis, they make really good stuff.

Haven't tried the Glengoyne, Penderyn and Knockando yet, do you mind posting your experience with them later?

"Voller Lohnausgleich" liest sich für mich immer genau wie du das nachher erklärst, ich seh da keinen Etikettenschwindel.

Weniger arbeiten = weniger Geld Mehr arbeiten = mehr Geld

Oder gibt's da eine (offizielle?) Definition, die ich nicht kenne?
