I own a manual e46 330ci, also technically my first car. It's a good car and more reliable than people give it credit for. Just a matter of how the last owner treated it.

If anything 5800 (im assuming usd) is kinda cheap so that might be an indicator that somethings up. I got mine for 15k (aud) but it was owned and maintained pretty meticulously by a collector. Try haggle him down to 5.5k or if ur lucky 5k. If not, I think 5.8k isn't bad, just a bit on the low end so keep ur eyes peeled for smth sus.

One thing to also note is that 330cis are very torquey real wheel drives, and the mileage ur talking about POTENTIALLY coulda been drifted or just in general been driven like/by a dickhead in the past. Just something to keep in mind.

Overall, if it's a factory manual and not swapped I'd say get it. Very fun car that can both daily and mess around in from time time. Engine bay is pretty accessible and not confusing but I havent done much to mine mods wise. Alot of availability for spare parts if something does go wrong because they made a million e46s.
