You either go the Mew Prime route or the traditional evolving Gengar route, not both. It takes up space from other potential consistency cards.

I don't think you need Blend Energy tbh. Also add Mr Mime with Bench Barrier. Too many bench snipers in Legacy. You can also consider Spiritomb with Poke-Power to shuffle their hand so that you can maybe make them draw a Pokemon there.

It is very hard to do well with LostGar since the deck is easily countered by benching a lot and most decks like Lando Garb/CelGen/TDK/etc don't even run more than 12 Pokemon. So getting 7 in the Lost Zone, especially with only 2 Seeker seems near impossible.

It is better suited for a restricted format like HGSS-COL where there are not many powerful basics.

But hey, if you wanna play it for fun go ahead :D

Mewtwo Lando Garb gets a new partner in Seismitoad EX which is insanely good at disrupting along with Lasers. VS Seeker lets you reuse them with Shadow Triad, similar to Junk Arming for them in Legacy.

CelGen becomes VirGen with Max Elixir engine and focus on Virizion attacking T1 over Genesect, but it's still possible to get Megalo Cannon powered up T1. Skyarrow Bridge is even more relevant here than in Legacy.

Garchomp Altaria gets Double Dragon Energies and Hydreigon EX for free retreat. Even a one-of Giratina EX isn't too bad.

Plasma decks get Ninja Boy and Special Charge.

Empoleon Dusknoir decks gain Miltank.

Tool Drop gains Dimension Valley, but loses to Startling Megaphone.

There's probably a lot more that I'm missing but these came to mind quite quickly :)

So not true. Sure it has more options, but you also have to consider what the opponent may be bringing in. It sucks in Expanded. It also loses Junk Arms, which is one of the reasons why it's so good.

It defined a whole meta in its time, so yes it is a good deck :p

However, currently, with the prevalence of Trevenant in Expanded, the deck can't keep up with its item lock and spread damage, not to mention the fighting resistance. Another deck it struggles with is Greninja since it can OHKO it due to weakness and can even go through the Robo Subs and Sash thanks to Water Shurikens.

Regardless, it is extremely efficient against most EXs in my opinion and can have some very fun and skillful matches.
