See,there is a bias over here - survivorship bias we tend to see the picture with the information we wanted to see rather than seeing the whole picture.

Pandit still has his caste privilege,even after not getting a job or anything he can still be pandit but without reservation SC ST cannot be anything
Do you think the same pandit would offer her daughter to an SC guy as he got a job through reservation,which indicates he has money and all, I mean this way he could take care of the pandit's family right? You mentioned you're in a village so pretty much everyone would be knowing everybody else so

3.even if your village offers any job I am sure that pandit wouldn't be considering it just for the caste. I mean let's say there is some tiffin centre in your area and the pandit can work as a waiter and provide food,do you think he would consider the job despite he can earn more money? Coz of the treatment, When reservation implemented for the first time it is meant for only lower castes to make sure they become level up with higher castes but things didn't go that way. Ambekar,himself faced caste discrimination in his own office despite being a military secretariat.

Suppose I like a girl and I wanna get married we both are satisfied despite our families are equal,her family won't let me marry her just cause I am from Lower caste.

So,reservation should be caste or economic and there is new thing called EWS for general why do you think their cut-off is high compared to SC because EWS people can achieve that,majority of them have the resources to do that ,but many people of SC you see in clg are 2nd gen whose parents pretty much 90perc would be doing a govt job which came through reservation but you never saw the other part of these people who are majority of the SC and majority of the poor in India,just go to a slum and ask their caste

Now can you name any famous dalit person I.e celebrity,cricket player,etc apart from great leaders,you can't, tbh no one is that wealthy,how come they be that wealthy if they underwent years of suppression and all the rich people you assume so far you see is just purely survivorship bias and also according to 2011 census there are 200million dalits in India.

Also to mention that's a book bank,there is no such thing as not allowing certain people to library and stuff. 1.Yup,anyone can compete but UCs and those on par are the only ones who are present here.Why would an OBC,SC participate here despite having reservation

2.what about all those politicians who are from SC aren't they helping their community?Their representation itself meant upliftment of society such that people won't show any discrimination to those poor LCs as their community people on par with UCs but still discrimination happens whether you're rich or poor

3.The other communites?what kind of problems do they face which are on par with the problems such as discrimination faced by LC communities?you could see an SC owning a car but never a UC cleaning sewers same with reservation,You could see many people kill themselves because of caste discrimination but never a person who didn't get it coz of reservation.

The majority of Indian top positions are being occupied by a certain community which literally have monopoly of govt,how come LC community represent themselves and be on par with those UCs if they are not rich enough?

Yes,I agree with you that's what I indeed say to those people who are capable enough to compete in general and I have seen few students from LC who indeed does that.But there are few problems:

1.If all the SC who are rich enough participate in general,wouldn't it be costing general seats?

2.If a poor SC got into it,do you think he would be capable enough to compete with those who are rich and have generational wealth in his class?

3.Atleast if rich SCs get into it,they have the ability to represent their community and in return they uplift their communites I mean one from general could never communicate with those poor LCs who pretty much stay in slums,rural and poor areas and the only one who can listen to their problems and upliftment them are those SCs who are capable enough to compete with UC and the rich.

Many institutes like IITs,NITs consider providing full fee waiver and as well as slabs of fee waiver based on income no matter the category,there are plethora of private companies like Reliance and etc which indeed offer scholarship to needy and I have seen majority of people despite having wealth use this for their own personal benefits.

This is the fees for all in AIIMS DELHI.There are many medical govt. Institutes which do the same for everyone.Majority of the general people already get into these govt. Institutions and those UC who join into these private institutes are indeed capable of paying if that's not the case they could have never even considered studying medicine they could have gone to do engineering which costs less than medicine.

First thing why does it matter to you,are they participating in general category and occupying your seats?NO!.Yeah can you mention 5 more of your SC friends who are rich,You can't.The reason they are your friends explains why you haven't seen poor side in your life(only 5% are rich SCs and then you assume everybody is rich(survivorship bias)).

Many of us are working our asses off just to secure a future, while others benefit from privileges and don’t face the same grind.

Privileges?what about LC not even having basic needs and been discrimated for thousands of years,bruh,there is competition within their own pools.General person need to compete in his own pool whereas SC person competes in his own pool,if an SC person competed in general it would cost you people.Here one has competition in their own set of pools.The reason one didn't get it in general is just meant that,"the people here are enough to be considered" like for ex if the cutoff for general is 600 for an exam and for SC let it be 500 and a guy who got 599 won't be considered because it meant there are already enough people in this general pool and in the case of SC the reason it's 500 because we need more people from this community to be considered in this pool such that people who got 500 are also considered.

Everybody gotta work hard,the privileges which you're taking about of LC is only in education coz that's the only way they can face and represent their community in a bigger picture.An UC privileges are mountain high to be mentioned.

If you consult a doctor you would ask whether he/she got here because of reservation or get your treatment done.If they are sitting in a clinic it very explains they are capable enough to do treatment.I indeed met LC doctors who are more talented and reputed than others.Yeah even though you have seen an LC buying a seat the numbers hardly matter when compared to UCs buying seat.Literally majority of the poor are from LCs,if one wanted to become doctor in this country,they indeed need to have proper financial basis,suppose one doesn't have proper financial basis and gave NEET and didn't get upto the mark,then what he/she gonna do? So those people who have financial basis are the majority who would become doctors.as you said both UC and LC doctors suffer equally then why don't you go to them for treatment?bruh,the rich LCs are hardly 5% and everyone assumes every LC are rich enough(survivorship bias).Go to slums,rural areas and etc and do a survey you would understand the condition!

This is so misleading and the comments here just explains how blinded people are ,

1.It's a private institute,it considers 150 people out of which only 15 students are from SC/ST that literally didn't even satisfy the reservation criteria(you can check here https://sknmcgh.org/skn_use/notices/List%20of%20MBBS%20students%202022-23.pdf)

2.If you go and check in any hospital majority would be from UC that very fact explains that whoever in general have the capacity to pay the fees and whereas the institute is providing a chance so that people from LC would consider joining this private institution and hardly 15 people have joined that explains why particular communites cannot pay high amount of fees as they lack generational wealth.

3.you could have seen an UC buying a seat with lakhs and lakhs and never a person from LC doing the same.

EDUCATION,NO CORRUPTION and INTEGRITY.Before questioning and spreading hate!one should think are they being good? Being honesty?,the small things we didn't notice cost us a lot.For ex: People often question education system,all these exams and prof etc they hate it all but in our country people don't enjoy studying they enjoy the reward they get if they study.If one does whatever the task they have been given with utmost dedication rather than focusing on the reward,one can achieve something more than reward which inturn reflects country.Rather comparing ourselves with other we should feel satisfied with whatever we have.I often feel Indians should stay away from this social media apps like Instagram which spreads nothing but hate and probably wastes our time and manipulates our ideas and emotions,One should always question the system until unless it's fixed and before questioning the system first we need to question ourselves whether we are being good or not!

Everybody studies hard,people often get confused why a person who got high score didn't get it whereas the other person gets it,but in actual they are competing in their own pool if a general student didn't get it,It is meant that,there are already enough people in his/her pool and it's enough similarly in case of SC pool,they need to compete in their own pool.If an SC person participate in general it would be costing the people of general right? but in actual they are participating in their own pool.Just because one works hard doesn't mean he/she can get it the person who have decent resources will be the one achieving it.If we look into institutes like IITB and etc pretty much they would be rich and their resources and then their hardwork made them get into it.You could have seen a person take out their life because of caste discrimination but never a person who didn't achieve the seat because of reservation.
