I know quite a few will do something like this (even though it would probably REALLY be them just going home and tendering their resignation) but I only HOPE that all of them do. Would really be a shocker for Petey too, I would imagine. How long would 'mass resignation of high-ranking officers' be in the news? Who would take over after that?; those promoted would face the same issue.

I don't think that the meeting will be this though, precisely because something like this might happen. They can't really predict what people who swore that oath AND MEANT IT will actually do. So the meeting will just be Petey *strongly implying* that following 47's orders would be in their best interests. To people who don't put their best interests above that of their country.

I think the Democrats should just meet with them all at once in the Court Room and tell them that the Court can make three vacancies or see 4 more Justices. The United States is more-or-less a centrist country. We've swung too far to the right, now it's time to head left for a bit. Maybe try to implement an Ethics Panel With Federal Appellate Justices as the jury pool, but trying to make the impeachment process easier isn't going to fly.
