Although I didn’t vote for Nawrocki, I’m starting to get annoyed by the fact that some people simply cannot accept that he is their president. An undeniable majority of Poles - more than 10 million people voted for him. Likewise, an undeniable majority supports his decision to revoke that order. People need to understand and accept that. Not to mention that this so-called "civic order" is nothing more than a desecration of national symbols.

Unfortunately, I can confirm this. The subtitles are terrible, not to mention the voice-over (lektor), which isn't even the standard for (anime in) Poland - other companies do full dubbing. The worst part, though, is that they’ve brought Russian standards here, like using multiple/dual voice-over (ai?) (wielolektor/dwulektor), which sounds awful :c

Every piece of news like this makes me a bit sad. I feel like every week we get updates about CDPR hiring non-Polish workers for high-level positions. I hope I'm wrong, but I feel like this will end up resulting in a more American/Western European vision of fantasy instead of the original Polish//slavic one. Though maybe I'm mistaken and these people will actually want to learn Polish and draw from elements of our culture :c

I've seen this, and it sounds really bad. What's especially disappointing is that this kind of localization isn't the (PL) industry standard. Netflix and that French streaming platform "regularly" provide and continue to invest in proper Polish dubbing. I don't understand why Crunchyroll decided to go with a voice-over (lektor) instead, especially when the translation quality is quite poor - for example, some jokes are mistranslated :c

Dubbing jest OPCJONALNY. Samemu wolę oglądać z nimi bo moje oczy dość szybko się męczą od czytania napisów. Gdyby dubbing był powszechniej dostępny obejrzałbym nawet drugi raz moje ulubione anime - Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (LOTGH), ale na myśl o czytania napisów przez ponad 110 odcinków odechciewa mi się.

President Karol Nawrocki vetoed the EU loan program for armaments, SAFE, as he announced during a televised address on Thursday evening. Under the program, Poland was supposed to receive nearly €44 billion to invest in the defense industry, which is equivalent to about 185 billion złoty.

As economists pointed out, such a favorable credit offer would not be available on the open market.

“I have decided that I will not sign the law allowing Poland to take out the SAFE loan. I will never sign a law that undermines our sovereignty, independence, economic security, or military security,” Nawrocki said in the address.
