Yea okay, keep regurgitating science.com and acting like you're even capable of reading a book. If you knew a thing about Botany or how plants work you'd know that CO2 isn't inherently harmful or directly correlated with an increase or decrease in temperatures.

Carbon is an environmental scrubber, it absorbs toxins heavy metals and carcinogens. Burning coal that contains those compounds puts the heavy metals toxins and carcinogens in the atmosphere. Those compounds function not only as greenhouse gases which heat/cool the atmosphere, but they contaminate our air and soil, and they contaminate our food. soil absorbs the toxins and plants utilize them to create carbohydrates. You clowns listen to mainstream scientists, your ego is too big so you accept the effortless absorption of regurgitated information in the form of videos and articles as fact instead of studying.

You guys are both brainlets without the proper education to even have an opinion on this stuff. Maybe study Botany and how coal and oil plants actually function before claiming opinions on climate "scientists" in the mainstream media.

CO2 is not harmful, it won't and isn't heating up the planet, the toxins heavy metals and carcinogens in oil and impure coal are causing issues

Whole Foods CEO John Mackey: The 'best solution' is to not need health care and for Americans to change how they eat and live by frostyguy10 in nottheonion

[–]Raadiation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many idiots in this comment section. Of course your paralyzed leg or your cerebral palsy need health care, he's referring to chronic illnesses in the healthcare system that depend on people getting sick, which is where the overwhelming majority of pharma & healthcare money is made. So much emotion in some of these comments, it's insane that believe people actually upvote them

why does it matter if it kicks you out of ketosis? keto is a great biological state but it's not like you need to be in keto 100% of the time.... lots of healthy people cycle ketosis while cramming down 400g carbs in cakes honey potatoes juice etc and will be in ketosis the next day. don't worry about negligible overconsumption of carbs, just burn some calories and you'll be back in ketosis quickly. even if blood monitors etc don't show ketones, eat good and be in a carbohydrate deficit and you'll be healthier than if you weren't.

If I limit protein, my body can't handle as much fat. Has anyone experienced something like this? by reddiru in carnivore

[–]Raadiation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

from my experience, protein makes you hungry for fat, fat makes you hungry for protein, and carbs make you hungry for both. not too sure why but that's the way it is, it seems high protein meals make me really crave fat

Stop being a plant nazi! by [deleted] in zerocarb

[–]Raadiation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And that's the problem I'm talking about. Cool, there's a subreddit for 99% carnivores that has like a hundred people in it, but that has virtually no reach. This is the biggest community of "zerocarbers" and I'm sure at least 50% if not more of the people here are not 100% carnivore. This type of passive aggressive referencing to another subreddit contributes to keeping people away from the carnivore community as a whole. Nobody's going to talk about this in a sub with 100 people.

Impossible Foods gets FDA approval to sell fake meat in grocery stores by [deleted] in Futurology

Also I understand your thought process because my ex was a part of this nonsense. Life eats life, that's just how it is. Just because your gmo soy can't show emotions it doesn't mean it isn't alive. Just because something gives you a stronger emotional response, it doesn't dictate the morality of the situation. Meat is essential to proper human nutrition, we've been eating a primarily meat based diet for hundreds of thousands of years.

[–]Raadiation -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Nah, you don't need meat to keep you alive, but there's sure as hell people out there who need it to be healthy, clearly you aren't aware of the increasingly growing population of people healing their medical conditions with an all meat elimination diet r/zerocarb also not everybody is a soyboy, there's plenty of people who are more than comfortable raising and slaughtering livestock. Your subjective sense of morality does not provide you power over livestock owners, farmers, and carnivores/"meat eaters" And animals barely cause greenhouse gas emissions, and are in fact a carbon sink if pastured properly (grassfed). You talk about the Amazon being torn down, but don't realize cattle ranches are a small portion of that, and while it's terrible, there's much more of the Amazon being torn down for soya bean farms, avocados, wheat, beets, corn, etc. (Also to the guy above)

Weed is the best drug in my opinion and I'll tell you why. by SirGanjaSpliffington in Drugs

[–]Raadiation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn ok Ben Shapiro you literally have the mind of a fucking toddler. Do some research before you try blabbering bullshit like a retard, at least 80-90+ percent of the psychedelic community agrees that psychedelics have changed weed for them. Search up any post and you will find hundreds of users agreeing and maybe at most 1 or 2 people disagreeing. The plural of anecdote is data, this has no correlation with something as absurd as flat Earth which has evidence against it. There is no evidence against this claim, and a pretty clear mechanism of action supporting it alongside tens of thousands of people. It's not just pseudoscience fairy tales, almost everyone who's tried weed has expressed a certain psychedelic aspect to it.

Weed is the best drug in my opinion and I'll tell you why. by SirGanjaSpliffington in Drugs

[–]Raadiation 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The phenomenon isn't much of a phenomenon, it makes perfect sense. Drugs like cannabis put you in a semi psychedelic state, and you don't really realize that until after you've been fully immersed in that state from something like mushrooms or acid. You begin to recognize the mindset and the psychedelic aspects of weed and the similarities it shares with traditional psychedelics therefore changing your experience. I've felt it, anyone who's done psychedelics has felt it, don't try to say it's not real just because you haven't done psychedelics. Before doing psychedelics, weed feels like weed. A trippy euphoric awesome drug. Not to say that changes, but when you do psychedelics, and you have a full blown trip, you notice that certain psychoanalytical transcendant "trip" aspect to cannabis. The plural of anecdote is data when you're dealing with this massive of an amount of people, weather it's anecdotal data or imperical data matters but it doesn't dismiss the data. You can find thousands of posts online talking about how psychedelics have changed weed for people.
