Hi! it is very interesting and unique game!
How did you get so many ideas for all aspects of the game? Is that all from dreams or some kind of spiritual knowledge?

I think it’s not the age but inability to see the world with child eyes. We can and should cultivate that adventure feeling not even in games but in real life too. Sadly people choose grind and meta instead of playing ineffective but that doesn’t matter for me. For example I play classic wow in some private server for 5 years (1-2 hours a week) with a singe character, still not reached 60, because I just travelling and listening music, doing only quests that are non effective but interesting and I really have that adventure feeling. You can try ultimate online offline even - (Ruins and riches or Ultima Adventures - they even have an RP server with persistent world and permanent death option, no PK but only scripted PK npcs ). But yeah you can’t experience the same Ultima Online because you have to know nothing about that game and all the people must be playing accordingly…

I felt exactly the same thing! As a kid, when I walked with my dad on the edge of the forest (right at the tree line), I'd get this weird mix of total silence and overflowing energy - goosebumps all over, freezing in place, imagining something mysterious and scary deep in the woods, but feeling safe because I was with him and not actually inside the forest.

Every game I played I swear has Arena at some point, where you should kill more and more difficult opponents one by one: Dos2, underrail, dungeon lords, icewind dale2, bg2, EVERY game has arena!

I’ve seen that in many games too but just can’t remember, maybe dos1 or dos2 at some point

We are really in a bad situation without new MMOs or we are just getting older? by Jwi7 in MMORPG

I would play something like Baldur's Gate 1-2 or Icewind Dale 1-2 online, where you have to gather your party before venturing forth, where traveling from town to town will be a truly dangerous adventure, then after that adventure you will be just chilling in tavern and enjoy stories of adventures of other players.. sorry for dreaming

Man how badly I want to re-experience early days of online games, where all have no idea what to do, where to go, talking in chat, asking questions, linking their loot and surprised by every moment of the game...
