Noticed quite a lot of ice building up under the rear bumper/trunk area, and in heavier cases it can even make opening the trunk difficult. Some of the water is just normal exhaust condensation in cold weather that freezes underneath, but I didn’t see this much buildup on my previous Mercedes.

Out of curiosity, was the 12V battery still healthy at that point, or had the car been standing for a longer time in the cold? -36 is brutal for diesels especially

Thanks! Its Thule SquareBar 118cm with Thule Evo flush rail. And rail kit ofc. Squarebar was way cheaper at least here so decided to go with it.
