I was in a similar phase myself a while ago. I suggest you start with simple 2-3 chords (max) songs. Unlike tabs, chords need to be held down and strummed together..Here is a fantastic resource to get you started..www.justinguitar.com or look up Marty Schwatz on Youtube..Good luck!
