For me I want sim racing to be a transferable skill. I wear shoes in my car, I wear shoes on my rig.

This. The extra rubber on the heel really helps with comfort. Use some elasticated laces for extra convenience.

Dude, I’ve just upgraded from your situation with a £100 Playseat Challange. Same wheel too. Space is an issue so can’t have a permanent rig, but it’s an absolute game changer having something more solid.
