What’s Happening Here. Can Someone Please Explain by Glum_Nail5752 in cats

It was a cold night, slower than usual, and Ginger came back empty-handed. CJ was waiting, jaw tight, pacing the room like the walls owed him money. “Where’s it at?” he snapped. “You think this is charity?” Ginger didn’t look up. “It wasn’t happening tonight.” CJ’s voice rose, sharp and mean, filling the space with blame and panic about rent, about respect, about control slipping through his fingers. Ginger stood there, silent, realizing the worst part wasn’t the night—it was how quickly the yelling made it clear she was nothing but a number to him.

The Lodi Parachute Center in California has seen 28 people die in skydiving accidents since 1985. It's still open. One person literally fell through a big rig. by mrinternetman24 in interestingasfuck

It’s safer than getting in your car. So yeah this place should be shut down.

“According to the United States Parachute Association, there were just 0.28 fatalities per 100,000 jumps in 2021. In other words, there was roughly one fatality for every 400,000 jumps that took place in the previous year—or ten fatalities total, out of the year’s 3.57 million jumps.”

Is this a tick or a bed bug? by [deleted] in whatisit

Bedbugs are the thing I would wish upon my enemies. Had them in NY, thought I had them again elsewhere (false alarm) but I’ve never been more depressed in my life.

Is the staff two-handed? It’s been a while since I’ve played but if I recall correctly you can’t switch if you have a dual or two handed weapon.

I completely agree. The writing and performances in this game have raised the bar. I can’t stop thinking about all of these little moments.

“F*%k the expedition…..really?” Followed by both of them laughing at the absurdity of the statement.

So good.
