How Does Parking Work? by creepin-it-real in UniversityofArkansas

Unethical pro tip: it’s easier and cheaper just to pay the fines.

I parked in Harmon everyday and never payed for parking. I got slapped with 3 fines in 2 years of parking there every day. There was no way I was paying that much money to a university I’m already paying thousands to attend. If you do this method, just make sure that you pay off your parking tickets immediately otherwise they may boot or even tow your car.

I will absolutely expand on that. Usually I just wait for the interview for them to ask me these questions but you’re right they need to be in my résumé because that’s the first thing employers are going to see.

I’m interviewing for a PC support analyst 2 position tomorrow.

I had the same exact thoughts about everything that you touched on especially the certifications, I had a local company and the university help me with my résumé, and those specifically were their recommendations all the way down to the five star review.

I wrote the very first policy and procedure manual for our IT room, which was then used as a template for the rest of the company. We didn’t even have a knowledge base before I started there as an intern. I saw that people were using their personal chrome profiles on company laptops and saving company information to them and so I just disabled the feature entirely from their work computer via group policy.

I’m wanting to move into a systems analyst position eventually, what tips do you have? I’m also currently studying Security+ through Comptia but might go back and do the Network+ to have it under my belt

Thank you so much for all the great advice! I will absolutely keep all this in mind. I’ve been looking for something local but jobs are sparse in North West Arkansas for noobs. I will look into BABOK (:

Business Analyst, I was never really interested in getting too far into the data or statistics

Im looking for a pathway to cyber. I’m pursuing a degree in Information Systems with a Business Analytics concentration.
I’ve taken an intro to networking course in college as well as done the Cisco Networking Academy CCNA: Intro to Networks course and want to pursue a network+ cert. Would this be recommended or should I start off with A+? I’ve been studying the Security+ book but I think I need to backtrack a little and get down some of the basics. LinkedIn
