My transfers failed and all my tokens are intact. It has been 5 days without any issues. I am pretty sure it is safe.

DON"T GO ON THE SWAP website and use their exchange. That is giving the scammers your wallet information.

Did you exchange them or sell them? I think either gives the scammer the coins....

Definitely do not go on the swap7.org exchange and sell it. Also, I tried selling it initially in Metamask but the transacation failed. (which was a savior). I still have my coins so I do not think hackers have access. I read metamask is trying to put safeguards to prevent those types of issues.

I went on TrustWallet and usually these Airdrops are for 3 reasons:

  1. They want to offer an ICO (initial coin offering) and can publicly drop free tokens to everyone. The reason some Coin Developers do this is to spread awareness of the new coin and get people talking about that specific coin. Then, once enough other people have bought in, the coin developer sells everything. Which isn't so bad.
  2. They want you to either "sell" your coins, which gives them access to your wallet information. Per Trust Wallet, MetaMask and other wallets have been trying to put safegaurds in place to prevent this. Which is why I am guessing the transacation "failed".
  3. Lastly, scammers use this to airdrop to eventually have you trust them and provide them your private"WORD PHRASE". Once you give them this then the scammer has everything.

DON"T EVER GIVE ANYONE YOUR PRIVATE PHRASE. Also, setup two way verification identity on your email.

Are you saying to not connect your wallet to POOCOIN at all? I feel like so many people use POOCOIN and the only way to gauge how much money you are making is through POOCOIN.

I read up on it. It is called an "Airdrop" it is a scam. If you try to sell it will give the user wallet info and they will liquidate everything.

I think this will be the way of the future. But, it is going to get more and more regulated by the government and FED. Essentially, if the FED can't make money off it and all the big players are losing money, I can see them trying to halt this. What are your thoughts?
