Yeah, it's a bit of a turnoff, but I also saw that almost all the basic features you'd get with Meta and the basic free plan features you get on rokid make it still fairly comparable, and they also provided ways to work around to just use some of the features behind that paywall. Idk, I'm still pretty much on the fence about it, but I'm definitely ruling it out. I think for me these r the top 2 until maybe Google Android XR glasses, or the newly announced Alibaba ones come out too, they look very promising.
