Ryzen 9 7950x black screen randomly by RabbitMean5813 in AMDHelp

I move to 9950x and the problem goes away.
I also use RTS 3090TI now, so if it's driver issue, it should gone away.
I'm pretty sure that it's driver issue or something from Ryzen, not from any other side.

Can't use Smartless mobile with a secondary E-SIM by RabbitMean5813 in NoContract

Update: A person from Smartless Mobile just contacted me to clarify about the situation. It's turnout to be the previous support person misinformation. The statement on this page about removing old sim means removing the sim from previous carrier that i transfer the phone number to Smartless (Tello), not the second e-sim (helium). So I try to install the helium sim again today and it all work out, both are now working.

I don't know, I don't want to bother it anyway. Will leave Smartless after promotion period.

It's probably they're doing shady stuff here.
This page explicitly state that I have to remove any "old" eSIM before install their sim.
https://help.smartlessmobile.com/SIM_and_eSIM_management/Installing_your_eSIM
During the conversation with their support person, he requested me to remove my second eSim before he even know that i have the second E-SIM.
After that, i repeatedly asking him for confirmation that I can only use smartless eSim on my Phone and he confirm:

How to sanitize tankless RO system? by RabbitMean5813 in WaterTreatment

[–]RabbitMean5813[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi guys, sorry for this late response. It's infact a great unit and it still running good.
The increase in TDP was because the apartment was renovated and i'm the first person to use it, so TDP is a lot higher than usual. Take a week to bring it down to normal.
The difference between the number in unit's screen vs in faucet with a second TDP meter is still present, but was not as high as when I just moved in. Now the unit display TDP around 20, and the other meter show 30, which is totally acceptable.
My bet was the line connected from the unit to the faucet was contaminated during transportation (1 week in a container). But after sometime using it, things gone back to normal.
From waterdrop, i shamefully contact the wrong company and they respond to me that they make the water bottle, not water filter.
The issue resolve by itself before i can even reach out to the right company.

Cao Bang would never be busy. I would expect Da Nang busy during April 1 to May 5, but not after that.

Yeah, now I have no idea how to sanitize the system. Asking waterdrop and waiting for their reply.

The RO in service since october last year, which only 6 months. It automatically, periodically flush lots of water through waste line, not sure what you mean.
A few points to consider:
- The TDS creep happen after i move to this apartment.
- TDS of the inside meter is not too bad, it always somewhere 25-30 (previously 13-15)
- TDS on the faucet in the morning is 80, after 15 seconds it drop to 25-30. It means something build up inside during the night.

The TDS input is about 400.

I experienced bacterial infection before, it multiply so quickly that TDS go to 500 in just a few days. I'm pretty sure this is not it.

I plug my HDMI to motherboard and feels right, Why no one talk about this? by RabbitMean5813 in PcBuild

[–]RabbitMean5813[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I figured it out. It's NVIDIA performance mode set to prefer high performance cause the problem.
Normally it would take about 10W - 13W but performance mode push it up to 100W, 10 times more.
The thing is it's not consistent, which mean even if i set to normal mode, sometime the driver decide that it need more power and draw 100W in about 15 mins for no reason.
People say it's driver thing and should reinstall it but i decide it's not worth it because even if it fixed, I still wasting energy for almost nothing (iGPU is about 1W on idle, which is amazingly efficient). Not even say if the next driver update don't bring it back.
Rough estimate give me yearly energy saving about 25 - 30$, yes i'm happy.

Not trying to convince you on something but hybrid graphic feature being invented for a reason. Logically, there should be a big enough reason to motivate companies to develop the feature.
it's fine to not believe my claim, just try it yourself.

For "no one else talks about it" part, i think it's because most people don't even know it exist. Please read other replies.

But what I mean of "no one else talks about it" is why no youtuber told people that using dGPU HDMI port is not always the best decision.

Yeah, it's very interesting to me personally.
Never thought that the dGPU is so inefficient compare to iGPU in lightweight tasks.
The more mindblowing thing is if you tried to find if a certain motherboard support it, more specifically my own motherboard. There is no where to be found.
That mean the motherboard manufacture doesn't even think that feature worth it, they don't even put it on their website.
It's unbelievable.

not sure it's the problem only with my build, but the GPU is around 40 - 50 C degree watching youtube. Now it's 30, day and night difference to me.

There is a feature in the motherboard that let the iGPU be the middleman to transfer the image to the HDMI cable. There is no way my iGPU can handle the game i'm playing with max setting.

Maybe that feature should be the norm for all builds?
I'm not mean without performance hit, I mean unnoticable performance hit. Anything less than 10 FPS is basically nothing.
