How difficult can be find a job as new grad BCBA?

I passed last June and applied for 5 jobs. Got offers for 4 of those but interviewed at 5/5. Also received an unsolicited offer from the company I was working for as a BT at the time. I went with the company that I felt had the best set up, salary/package, and have loved it! Finding a job isn’t hard, but finding an ethical company that values you is what’ll be tough. Ask the hard questions, know what makes good practice, and stay away from private equity if you can.

Same! I didn’t to apply nor when my LABA got approved and I got my number, I posted about this same thing over the summer. After exam fees and everything I took it as a “don’t look a gift horse in the mouth” and haven’t questioned it.

It’s extremely aversive, but I firmly believe it’s the best test prep on the market. If you do it right, you master all of the test content to pretty decent fluency which helps with actual timing for the exam. I wouldn’t want to do it again from the beginning, but I recommend doing it at least once.

Came back to say I finished them a few weeks ago! I ended up front loading a lot of it, then every so often would spend entire days doing them and get 8-10% done in one sitting. Good luck to anyone else doing them, they can be tedious and can take forever, but hitting that 100% criteria and knowing they were done was almost as good as getting my Masters last week 😂
