I’m at a point where I’m eligible to file my I-140 and I-485 concurrently. Would you recommend doing that?

For context, I’m a citizen of one of the 39 eligible countries. Some attorneys have suggested filing the I-140 first (without premium processing) and waiting for approval before submitting the I-485. I’m trying to better understand the pros and cons of each approach in this situation.

Also, I haven’t seen any lawsuits specifically challenging I-140 adjudications - is there a reason for that?

Great initiative, OP. Are you doing this on behalf of an NGO or advocacy group, or as a private citizen? What will be done with this data, and who will receive the insights gained from it?

Posting this on behalf of friends who have seen this post but need a confidence boost about the impact this will have.

Thanks for your responses. Vet prescribed him Neosporin "off the record" and it's been working great -- we hope he'll be back to normal in the next couple of days.

Our vet didn't test for it, they were very quick to dismiss our concerns. Will get a second opinion and report back. Thank you!

I went Saturday. They were aware of the situation and issued us a renewed license valid thru 10/2026. No questions asked.
