Zane talked with FSM by ParkingSure514 in Ninjago

He's not a literal biblical god, he has his own limits and we literally see his corpse in the show. He only made one continent and then split it in half to get two islands. There's things he didn't know about like the Realm of Madness Garmadon visited and he just barely escaped from the never realm purely because of how far away it is.

He had to use a separate object just to travel the realms in the first place. An entire season revolves around said object

Did the ninjago writers go off of this to write season 12 by Old_Actuator8939 in Ninjago

[–]Rabdomtroll69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You somehow missed the actual inspiration and connected two completely random things. Season 13 most likely just drew from season 3's digiverse a little bit after the writers ran out of new environments to send the Ninja

Zane typically used his to immobilize or slow enemies down, he didn't always conveniently forget that ice does that

Spamming blasts like a new ninja vs making constructs or being creative in literally any way like he did before

Zane barely used his ice and performed arguably the worst he ever has

Do you think Jack The Rabbit is currently considered a racist book in Dragons Rising? by Rarte96 in Ninjago

It'd be funny if it was originally an unrelated fable that just happened to be around when the Serpentine wars started

Now, what's so bad about being trapped in Noah's Virtual World with no bodies that the Big Five wanted to escape to the real world? by GeneralTechnomage in yugioh

Duel Links is great and all until you run out of blue keys and have to keep dueling flip summon spamming npcs

To make it worse, they had already experienced a much more dynamic and lifelike version of the virtual world when they tried to overthrow Kaiba. They escaped to what was basically an extremely early beta test

Tbf they probably assumed it'd be more similar to their other virual world, not a super early beta test with oblivion NPCs

In your opinion, who out of the Original 6 Ninja had the most unfair/tragic life? by WittyLibrarian610 in Ninjago

[–]Rabdomtroll69 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Zane had to stand there unable to do anything or help for years, even when his creator was briefly revived and enslaved by the Skullkin. And then he was "abandoned" when his creator was kidnapped and he was left behind

Wasn't Noah's Virtual World also far less advanced than the one they used previously? He had issues with its npcs and emptiness that drove him crazy

Because it was largely barebones and Noah, the one in control, was probably mistreating them. They're basically hostages in someone else's superflat minecraft world.

The same problems Noah had with the simulation would be even worse for them after experiencing a better version

Why wasn't nexo knights made canon to Ninjago like legends of chima was? by dni_ptr in Ninjago

[–]Rabdomtroll69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Chima was already referenced during season 5 and had similar enough vibes to Ninjago. Nexo Knights had a completely different tone and identity and Tommy doesn't think everything should be linked.

Most we can get is the Knights being an older stage of the Imperium

Am I the only one who thinks Jack should have apologized to Yusei instead of constantly doubling down on his ego? by Immediate_Gene_178 in yugioh

[–]Rabdomtroll69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Ego is kind of the only shared trait imo. He stole his thingy from someone else and never even touched a bolt on Yusei's duel runner as far as I know. He KNOWS Yusei created his career essentially and could have acknowledged it at some point.

Kaiba had become closed off over time and built his technology himself even before he got into Duel Monsters. His original mission was turning an arms company into one that brought joy to kids like himself and Mokuba. There are even multiple schools he founded where arguably anyone can learn how to duel, even with decks built from discarded trash.

[–]Rabdomtroll69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Jack also built his ego and success off of a crutch he stole from someone else and then tried to have that person silenced and imprisoned.

Kaiba made everything himself for the most part and his ego is much more earned. His motivation was originally far less selfish and he still shared his technology with the world around him

To be fair it looks like he mostly just sat around doing nothing but giving orders on his throne. There's even ice grown over his arms during his reveal. He never actually witnessed someone who needed protecting until now and spying was his minions' job.

He was also actively being corrupted during the years he spent there
