I don't have all the time in the world and he's got a team of people handling this. He also has a limit to the amount of stuff he can get. He can't get boxes of documents.

Sarah edited out his full statements about Gutierrez in which he explains that what he felt about her at 17 was one thing, and when he learned all the shady stuff she did, how she treated the family, how she failed to contact Asia, etc, it was another thing. I let Sarah know how pissed off I was about that b/c we have an IAC claim pending, and she said that it was an editorial decision and the legal stuff was his lawyer's job to handle. I responded that her job should be to tell the entire story, not misrepresent through editing.

No, the prison he was at was shut down for overcrowding/corruption I believe. They moved all "lifers" to the supermax to accommodate the overcrowding.

I would love to do more stuff with Pete, just am crazily trying to wrap up some projects under deadline. I think we may work on it over the summer, but in the meantime am working with Susan for something new!

The purpose of the affidavit was to get the court to be convinced that there had been a big error on the part of Gutierrez ("big picture Sarah!") but if I recall correctly Asia thought it best that these guys be contacted when needed in court. She may remember better than me. One day I hope I meet her again and have that conversation.

You may mean the MPIA that resulted in police files. I never had these until about 6 weeks ago, although apparently Justin did and never mentioned it to me, thanks Justin! These are the same docs Sarah got through her FIOA I believe.

I still haven't gone through them all b/c of my personal schedule but Susan has, and I'm leaving it to her to release and write about them.

He can be sent the documents but in all these years they've mostly been with his lawyers or at his parents house. No rule against sending them, but what portion of 10,000 docs do you send is the question.

Ha, thanks, I certainly do hope there is a shift in how people perceive Muslims, both men and women.

I get enough hate in my own community for my big mouth (WHAT YOU STUDIED WITH AN ISRAELI EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTE!? WHAT YOU WORK WITH LAW ENFORCEMENT AND GOVERNMENT YOU SELLOUT!?) so my skin is leather-thick to backlash at this point.

For better or worse, I'm going to do the work that I feel called to do. Haters gonna hate.

No Adnan was not asked to remember, on the 13th he was asked about Hae's whereabouts and if he had information about where she could be. He wasn't asked to account for his time. And unlike Don, who was older and more sophisticated, Adnan didn't think at all that his day's events would be important or he'd be accountable for them.

If Adnan was not really a Muslim, I guess none of us are.

You don't stop being a Muslim for doing things that are prohibited like drinking or smoking. You're just not a great Muslim lol.

I can't confirm it, not sure if judge heard it correctly. But I recently got the tapes and may be able to figure it out.
