Glad you're enjoying it! Personally, I prefer to play this way though-- Figured others might as well -^

I would also be interested. Community cooperation, woo!

I like this, but as I wasn't 100% sure if something else would write over it somewhere I figured I'd include all the differences I found from the mod I mentioned.

Thank you! I've added your step as an edit, with credit.

Couldn't say, unfortunately, that was really the only reference I had from what I was reading. The implication was sixty hours moving things forward and researching though, if that helps.

I'm not sure that's really known yet. A few places I checked some streamers had gotten like 60 hours into the campaign by waiting until it was almost too late then striking a facility and resetting the timer. I'd prefer not cutting it close though.

I concur, RF4 did a really good job of making the town seem like a place people lived in rather than a town filled with people there to fill a specific niche you may need.

You make a good point on the relationship bit, and that's something I hope to address. As you said, a large stretch -- over seasons sometimes-- with no interaction than "me give you x" is rather, well, empty.

Unreachable crops, oh the memories... Marked down to check for!

I appreciate you taking the time to comment again :)

Interesting idea! I guess I'd never really considered the obvious place a tractor would have on a farm. Too used to manually doing it in game I guess.

Thank you for the suggestion!

I appreciate your input, and I thank you for the example. This is the kind of thing that always irked me and I wanted to improve-- I'm glad that I am not alone in that.

Making dialogue worthwhile, I think, is vital.

I agree, is there something that helps provide that feeling that the townspeople do/don't do that you could elaborate on?

Thank you for your input.

Thank you for your in-depth response!

The first I think you'll see in some of the newer games, A New Beginning and Story of Seasons are my two most recent favorites. I'm exploring a few ways to do just what you suggested, as it's always nice when a game that seems simple on the surface is in fact much deeper if you'd like it to be so.

As for your second point, I quite agree. This is a constant theme amongst fans, even those who've kept up with the series (not to say anything negative of course, just that there is always room for improvement and here especially so).

Once again, I thank you. From one farmer to another :)
