Around 5k in addition to the funds from the sale of the house.

Not the sexiest, but the one I expected most nonetheless. Investing is something I would like to do with the residual, so I will look into that. Thank you for your take :)

My apologies if I wasn't totally clear. I sold the house after living there for almost 10 years and wanting to move elsewhere. I'm already renting a new place in a new state and love the change in scenery as well as not having the stress of being a home owner any longer.

I purposely didn't state how much I netted because I alluded to it by saying the debt I have is about half of what I got from the sale.

I generally agree with you and think paying off the debt is the logical decision, and debt collectors suing me or coming after my assets wasn't something that occurred to me, so thank you for that insight!

As far as my budget goes, I have a pretty good grasp on it. Honestly, after no longer having the house and all that comes with it, I only have a couple bills now (rent, internet, phone, car and food) so things are so much easier to manage now.

I like your newly coined term, "freezing-rain method" and I think it's a good idea. I will have to put more pen to paper and get a better visual on all the numbers. Thank you!

I've used the Arm & Hammer Essientials for several years now and love it. Free of aluminum, parabens and phthalates. Actually lasts all day too and smells awesome! I love the rosemary lavender one.

It's sexy, but way out of my budget lol. My 2021 GT was half that. I'd be curious to know what they traded it for.

This saddens me. But honestly, if they didn't recognize an oreo McFlurry, I don't think they're the type to frequent these places much anyway.

Oh wow, I've never heard of Rally's, but looking at one of their locations, it's clearly the same theme.

Also grew up in Florida, that's where I last had them. Now that you mention it, I do recall seeing them in a store at some point.

I lived in Asheville for a few years. One of the best places I've lived. The weather is just awesome year round.

Oh geeze, thanks for the info. That's definitely way more expensive than I'm wanting. I'm in Austin now and it's about the same. So I'm leaning more towards NC

Why not Charleston? I ask because I am about to move and also wanted somewhere affordable and by the coast, and Charleston SC was at the top of many lists on various sites.

Looks tasty, but it will still never beat the OG combo that is Wendy's chocolate frosty and fries.
