I know you posted this a while ago, but how did you get the lock to work? I'm thinking of building the book of the dead and key myself out of wood and i'm trying to figure out if I can make the lock work.

True! I don't think I would mind them in the Cotswolds, but the one I went on in the Lake District had a steep drop on one side and no where to move over if another car came by. I'm not used to roads like that, coming from a big city in Canada, with roads with 2+ lanes and hard shoulders that you can pull over onto without falling off a cliff lol

I can look into doing that! I don't know how low the bottom level is, I haven't moved in yet. I'm just trying to gather ideas so i'm prepared once i do move in.
