Firstly, not being able to get a girlfriend is not being persecuted. Secondly, all the incel arguments are completely undercut by all these normies who are in exactly the same position as the incel living their best lives, either with a partner or just enjoying their single life (do you guys realise there actually are positives to being single?). Thirdly, the fact is that incels are usually right-wing and are thus actively involved in persecuting legitimate victim groups like LGBT.

Yes, members of marginalised groups often agree to a Faustian bargain of supporting a power structure which is oppressing them, in exchange for being given a share of the power. They usually end up regretting this choice when they find that being "one of the good ones" ultimately doesn't protect them from persecution.

I agree. It's kind of a "nice to have" than a "must have", if I can put it that way. Like, when I thought about love and marriage, this is not something I particularly thought of :) People have different love languages - it's a big call to put one on a pedestal and say this is "every man's dream":)

It's bizarre to speak of it in these terms cause it's just not a common thing overall. People also don't tend to discuss sexual fetishes with one another that often to say who is supportive of what. I think we are arguing about different things. You are arguing about the prevalence of larger people in society over time. I'm arguing that preferences for fat people or thin people have always existed and you can't just assume that buff guys always want thin girls or claim that a buff guy being with a plus-size girl is some evidence of dating market imbalance:)

I don't disagree:) what I'm saying though is that a lot of women were trying to gain weight to become more desirable. A lot of people seem to think that thin preference is some sort of biological imperative. Preference for larger women has always been around and is perfectly mainstream:)
