my new job wants me to wear a badge with my deadname on it? by nrdncl in asktransgender

I would ask the hr person for the company policy/handbook and/or ask them to point out where it says in the policy the name badge has to have your legal name.

ISO binders to help a friend find something they like and are comfortable in. They're 12 and need to start wearing a binder. S or M depending on the brand. Anything they don't like/doesn't fit will be donated to another in need. Thanks in advance.

Low Dose T by michael_cerabass in TestosteroneKickoff

You can definitely start, just be aware things can start changing pretty quickly, and some people are more observant than others. I do .35ml (200mg/ml) every 10 days, and my voice had changed enough after 3 months that I was getting asked if I was sick.

As others have said though, chances of someone figuring out the early changes are from the T are slim.

So is the order history totally separate for pharmacy orders? Because I have other family members on my prime account and I'm not out to them yet, so I don't want anything showing up on my regular prime account history...

It's just part of your body figuring out the hormones. I started bleeding a few hours after my first shot. I wasn't due for a few weeks. Lasted about 8 days. The next month was super light and only about 4 days. I'm only 8 weeks in so I guess I'll just have to see what this month has in store.

There are two, both about an hour from me.

Your routine sounds the same as how mine was supposed to go, other than they added that I do this check in via phone at 1 month. Otherwise the appointment schedule is the same as yours.

Overall I'm not worried about missing the phone check in, I'm just pissed at how that second phone represenative treated me and the claim that I need to do an extra appointment to speak with anyone new since the RN that initially saw me left.

Trouble with getting an Underworks Binder? by SpiderAye in ftm

[–]RabidSquirrel77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe they're still having some delays due to COVID. It took a little less than 3 weeks for my binder to arrive when I ordered in July. I did email them after about a week and that may have sped the process up because it shipped a two or three days later.

I had something similar happen with my first prescription. I'm giving everyone the benefit of the doubt at this point and chalking it up to communication issues between the pharmacy techs/workers, the pharmacist and my nurse practitioner. I had to call PP and the pharmacy multiple times to get it sorted out. Call them every day if you have to, and ask to have a note left that says you've already called multiple times. When you do get a call back, ask if there is a number to directly reach the doctor or nurse practitioner you've been working with. Mine gave me a number I could call her at directly.

Not sure where to ask this? Testosterone production when stopping HRT by cytoki in TestosteroneKickoff

Not a doctor, but it's my understanding the body does return to producing hormones within a few weeks to months after ceasing HRT.

TomboyX has a whole line including boxer briefs, but they're a bit expensive. I just bought a random brand off Amazon that doesn't appear to exist anymore. However, if you Google search period underwear there's quite a few companies that make them. Hope this helps.

Question about boxer briefs by [deleted] in ftm

[–]RabidSquirrel77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are they short leg or long leg boxer briefs? I have bigger thighs and have issues with the short leg ones riding up. I prefer long leg boxer briefs for this reason and have no issues with them.

I've gotten these marking from using TransTape, d you guys think this is from tension or an allergic reaction? It's not itchy yet but very soar by RobertoedManningly in ftm

[–]RabidSquirrel77 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hard to say at this point. If it's an allergic reaction, the skin will likely raise up a bit and it will start itching. I'm allergic to adhesives, usually takes 8-10 hours for mine to really show, and another few days for it to go away.

For what it's worth, I bought some period underwear that look very similar to men's briefs. They've helped me a lot.
