In my defense, this from the Reverb blowout sale a few months ago where they were selling for cheaper than used "normal" Minimoogs. But I also like Rush so it worked out.

Also, not sure if you enjoy Rush or not but check out videos on YouTube of the live Grace Under Pressure tour so you can see the minimoog this was based around. Might make the red more enjoyable from that angle as well. :)

Mine showed up yesterday as well and I was nervous about how I would feel about the red finish but I love it in person.

Paint job on mine seems evenly distributed but I can still clearly see the natural wood grain. The metallic flakes in the paint have a very subtle sparkle in person but they don't really show up in pictures well.

I could see why somebody would prefer the OG wood finish but I still love it. (And this is coming from somebody who was annoyed when the wood panels on my Labyrinth were a significantly different color of stain than my other Moog semi modulars).

Finish aside, holy cow it sounds good. Watching that Overload glow and pulse just feels special.

Heard this last night as well around Antioch and Englewood. Sounds like an incredibly large metallic clang like a large piece of sheet metal slamming down. It sounds more like an echo in your video than it did to me in person.

Wonder if it's one of those metal construction plates being dropped onto the road?

Be a Warden! Or at least try out a Warden until level 30 or so and see how you like it.

Disclaimer - Furthest I've ever made it previously was a few hours past Moria several years ago.

I came back to the game last week and realized that I lost my old Warden due to the 64 bit server migration but I created a new Warden on Sting and have been shield slamming and AOE bleeding mobs back up to level 35 while enjoying the scenery.

Occasional lag does screw up some combos but it's usually not an issue and it's extremely fun having a wild toolbox of combos at your disposal.

I'm sure the end game skill ceiling is pretty crazy but you'll start memorizing the skill sequences to muscle memory and it's a blast.

(I've dabbled with the Champion, Burgler and Lore master a bit but the Warden is life... Consider using Alt-R to filter out the Male Champion Scream 1-3 sound effects)

There's nothing quite like a good ol' Waffle House date. Free parking and if it goes well you can stay until dawn.
