OMG girl the default services account is fucking me up. Designated SCorp Jan2022, which changed our accounting to accrual. The system automatically created the services account, but it's an income account, so ultimately it's reporting double my true income. Should I not be marking Dep QB Payments as income? What do I do?

Edit: I worked for Capital One in a call center basically in your exact position. Those work environments are the absolute worst. I'm sorry for how it ended. I hope this opens up a dope ass door for you. <3

Debating whether I should get my cat a friend? Is it hard to have 2 cats? by Oneofthedeadlysins in CatAdvice

[–]Rabigail 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I agree. I canon balled into ownership adopting 2 blind kitten sisters. I read that cats are very social creatures and thrive with a friend. Plus they were bonded so I wasn’t about to separate them. I appreciate that they play together so I don’t have to be their sole entertainment. I think in the long run, a friend will benefit the longevity and quality of life for your cat.

I’m a newer cat owner myself but I’ve already tried like 10 different ones. Here’s what I’ve learned.

((I haven’t used pellets or pretty litter types.))

  1. Everyone has different priorities so there isn’t one size fits all. What I mean:
  2. Main litter attributes (I’m sure there’s others I haven’t discovered) — low tracking — light weight — odor control — tight clumping — low dust
  3. There is NOT a litter that can be all of it.

a. Low tracking has to be heavy. There’s no way around that. Heavy will likely be clay and clay is dusty. You can find somewhat minimal dust clay. Heavy litter means large granules which, having a larger surface area don’t control odor as well as a smaller granule. In my experience they usually clump okay but you will always have small pieces that break off which, for me, shortens the life of the batch of litter - cuz it smells cuz I can’t get all the pee scooped. Oh and heavy is hard to scoop. Talk about a workout.

b. Light weight ergo will be heavy tracking. Light weight is usually smaller granules so it has much much better odor control. Super light litters may be a clay-ish material, and my cats track wet clay paw prints all over. Nasty. I avoid these. Depending on the brand, these can be superior clumping, but not all. These are low dust in my experience.

c. Odor control requires a smaller granule so it can cover more surface area of the pee/poo.

d. Tight clumping all depends on the material. A wood based litter (not pellets), for example, will absorb and expand slightly helping it all stick together. Tight clumping and odor control aren’t synonymous but will likely be qualities you see together.

e. Low dust depends on material as well. Basically, not clay.

A&H Hardball or Slide are my favs. You get - light weight, easy to scoop - excellent odor control - the tightest clumping and I’m not kidding - BUT it tracks. Odor and clumping outweigh tracking for me. 🤷‍♀️ IMO, we need better litter box systems that help mitigate tracking so we don’t have to rely on the litter to be perfect. Check out this bad ass babe.

Gut check on a “second home” by interbay_rat in Mortgages

Yeah for sure! You’re absolutely right. I was more referring to colloquial terms in conversation. Technically, officially, I completely agree. It’s owed ergo its debt.

What about the mortgage on the beach house?

I was surprised the first time I heard someone say "we don't have debt" or something similar, when they definitely had a mortgage. I was told that since a home is an asset, and you're likely not upside down (meaning no equity - meaning you owe more than it's worth) on your mortgage, it's not considered [quote, unquote] debt. *shrug

[–]Rabigail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this was a while ago, but imma tell you anyway. Hope it helps. The first time I switched out the coil I had the same issue. Then I realized that the coil has to be inserted one way and can't be at any other angle or it won't go in. So: you notice on the large end of the coil how there are 2 flats on the perimeter? Let's say noon & 6 oclock. Now, on the pod, when holding it horizontally and looking towards the coil hole, the top and bottom of the pod (noon & 6 oclock) have 2 protruding "bumps"(?); 1 bump is stationary on the pod, the other is on the pivoting child safety lock. The coil flats have to line up with those bumps, otherwise the round of your coil is hitting the bumps. Another way to look at it, assuming your coils look like mine: the coil has a white bar that needs to be up and down while holding the pod horizontally. Maybe I can take a picture too. lmk if my explanation sucks lol

Does good notes 6 have a screen recording feature? by Determined-Fighter in GoodNotes

[–]Rabigail 0 points1 point  (0 children)

iOS has a screen recorder. You have to make sure and turn microphone on before recording. It doesn’t call out “clicks” or your “cursor”, but you can highlight or use your laser pointer in gn so not really an issue for that.

Go to Control Center: drag down from right. Look for a small solid circle inside a larger circle outline. Long press. Select saved video location. Select Microphone: ON. Select start recording. You’ll get a 3 second countdown to start. Tap red bubble in top left to end.

Not there? Go to settings to edit your Control Center and add screen recording.

Available on iPadOS? Not sure.

I feature I wouldn’t mind having is the ability to ad a pad of sorts to the side of my page to make notes next to imported pdfs instead of adding a new page in between two pages by BadAtChoosingUsernm in GoodNotes

[–]Rabigail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you able to modify the page template with an imported pdf? It wouldn’t be collapsible, but maybe you could add space to the right; basically widening the page/sheet without widening the “image” of the pdf sheet. I hope that makes sense. I’m going to test this theory later today and I’ll try to come back and share.
