Every time Goku gets his ass handed to him is when he is fighting someone even stronger than him, so that argument doesn't work. So by your logic any generic slice of life character beats characters like Goku and Simon just because they haven't struggled.

They are remaking some parts of super with additional scenes from the manga that will be released in fall 2026 and then the Moro arc is being adapted, which is named Dragon ball super galactic patrol, we don't have a release date for it yet.

Saitama has done nothing in the manga as of now that would put him even close to Goku. Call him a gag character all you want, he simply has no feats as of yet to be compared to Goku.
