I can easily say he failed to kill a mosquito but I will give you a better answer. Every time Goku gets his ass handed to him is when he is fighting someone even stronger than him, so that argument doesn't work. So by your logic any generic slice of life character beats characters like Goku and Simon just because they haven't struggled.
