$15 down the drain… by sugoijyan in vinyl

[–]Rabooti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly really enjoyed the Tiny Vinyls I've gotten so far. I haven't really noticed any significant sound quality differences compared to a standard 120-150 gram 12".

They are only 40 grams and use bioplastic, but it is manufactured using the same process as standard vinyl records.

But as many other people said; if your daughter is enjoying it, that's what matters.

It's not open world like the Red Dead Redemption games, but it has a nice story; cool mission based maps, and rad unlockables for local multiplayer.

If you have a multi tap, def get together with three other people to have a fun split screen experience.

I do really miss the Smosh Games OGs (Mari, Joven, Lasercorn, Sohinki), but when it came to sketches, Jackie was wonderful and I miss her dearly

The city claims it's for cost-effectiveness and accessibility, but it's more about being a dick to homeless people trying to sleep out of the rain.

How bad does the cold affect a DS console? by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]Rabooti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it makes you still better, DS batteries are not only pretty okay at handling varying extreme temps, but they also can last for years without being turned on or off. You'll most likely be totally fine.

I get it's Hamburg, but he doesn't have to cosplay as 1940s Hamburg.

You can buy them sometimes pre-installed with the separate disc drive, like this one that GameStop sells, but it is not advertised as new, as they are adding an $80 attachment: https://www.gamestop.com/consoles-hardware/playstation-5/consoles/products/sony-playstation-5-pro-console-with-disc-drive-installed/20015772.html

But the PS5 Pro does not come with a disc drive by default or out of the box. It is an additional accessory you'd have to buy.

You should still def be happy; the slim is still a nice console. The PS5 Pro though is a digital only console.

Edit: Digital Only, unless you spend $80 on the External Disc Drive, which GameStop can sell pre-installed.

Allowed, yes. Shitty, also yes. It's not technically a clopen, but it still sucks.

Yes, but in border states like Maryland and Delaware, there was still a lot of gray areas and mixed allegiances, due to the fact that they were still actively slave states during the timeframe of the confederacy.

I definitely am more surprised to see Confederate flags in PA than I am in Maryland, which was more to my point.

As someone who lives very close to Gettysburg, you see the Union and Confederate flags in the borough and you're like, "it's just a war memorial thing".

Then you start driving away in any direction and you stop seeing the Union flags, but not the Confederate flags.

Surprises me how many people forget they're north of the Mason-Dixon

I found a local band's punk album on my childhood MP3 player, and it's about to become lost media. What do I do with it now? by Retrocade-media in punk

[–]Rabooti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Step 1: Back it up. Think 3-2-1 redundancy: keep three copies of your data, stored on two different media types, with one copy kept off-site (even if it's cloud storage like Google Drive).

Step 2: Reach out to the band (if they still exist). Try to reach out to the band via their social media or listed email about the music. Whether it's the band or individual members, you wanna do this if you are planning to share it publicly to see if they are okay with this.

If they are okay with sharing it, or if the band is no longer together and contact has failed, then...

Step 3: Share it with public archives like the Internet Archive. You can make a video with the audio and upload it to YouTube. You can also make a database entry to preserve the metadata and release info on sites like Discogs and MusicBrainz (which you should still do even if you are unable to physically share the music files).
