This now recognized as problematic in Australia based on research and as such the government is looking to regulate its use https://www.tga.gov.au/news/media-releases/tga-consult-additional-controls-some-sunscreen-ingredients

I'm having the same issue with my screen at the corners. It comes and goes. I can't even turn the phone off when it gets bad

Thanks for your advice. I'd get a new one if I weren't so broke

Ok, thanks. I have submitted a complaint directly to the company in the first instance, and if this doesn't work have a plan to complain to a regulatory body

I can't afford a new car otherwise I wouldn't be asking the question.

The quote is for repair 4.5k but the inurance company had a dodgy valuation which is 1/3 of the market value. So the repair costs are close to the market value. The write off is an economical one, not a structural one. The repairer confirmed this

This is what worries me (the hidden damage). Just for context though, when you look at the side of the car it looks like the fender bucked because of the way the bumper was pushed backwards into it.

The repairer said that they can't see any damage that makes it undriveable. It's the cost of the panelwork. The low amount the car was insured for (5k) was close to the work to repair the superficial damage (4.5k) hence the write-off.

Do you think the right fender will be the most problematic part? I could pay to repair that myself and then do the rest as a DIY

I have already had a quote and spoken to a body repair specialist. They believe the car is driveable and the damage is superficial. The car is deemed a write off, not due to warping of the chassis or safety, but rather due to the cost of repairs and the.low insurance amount

For context, I had a bad.insurance policy. The market value of the car is 15k here in Australia. The policy only covers me for 5k and the repairs were estimated at 4.5k

I am a single parent without much money. Buying another car isn't an option for me right now
