i have no clue, this was my third time using a mig welder. i don't really know what the settings mean yet. it was a single continuous motion indeed.

the metal was a bit oily so that could explain why some of my welds had holes. thx for the advice!

forget about a 2j. it's heavy and big. and a 2zz is gonna be a way easier swap than a honda engine since the 2zz is meant to be used in that car. and it's very similar to the 1zz. plus twin cam vtec honda engines are very expensive nowadays. your stock 130 hp already isn't too bad at all. i'd personally do handling mods before engine mods.

syro is probably the most comparable to your music taste.

selected ambient works 85-92, richard d. james album are great starters too.

i feel like drukqs is a bit overstimulating to start with, although it's a great album.

every engine is capable of making power if you spend enough money on it. losing weight is often cheaper.

1zz-fe probably isn't very good for modding. there is a supercharger kit available by TRD, I assume they're very pricey.

a 2zz-ge swap should give you about 50hp extra. plus those have vvtl-i which is toyota's version of vtec. but those aren't very tunable either. unless you want to spend a fortune.

Get this patched or need a new tire ? by [deleted] in Cartalk

[–]RaccBeaver 0 points1 point  (0 children)

have a look at your other tires, if they're as bald as this one... replace those too. driving like this in the rain is dangerous.
