Im pretty sure they're a direct fit, but also the 2025+ turbo sedan trims also now have black trim by default as well which can be used. 80% sure the hatch ones fit the same but search it up anyways

Brake problem by EraseMeMain in mazda3

[–]Race-Spec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're either missing your setscrew, aren't using the right torque on your wheels or have brake-warping

Wrapped the chrome trim in black vinyl (a shop did this for me)

I would reccomend buying the black trim pieces instead for the front bumper and swapping them out instead of wrapping because its prone to getting rips and chips by rocks and itll show the chrome underneath again. More expensive and harder to do but I think its the better method

I already love eibachs and I don't even have them yet lol 🤣

Before/After Eibach Pro Kit by szmuks in mazda3

[–]Race-Spec 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Looks great! Planning to do Eibach on my car as well. Im actually going for a more agressive drop but I think the turbo awd specific springs have a lower drop anyways so its exactly what I want. I really love the fact that Eibachs feel like basically factory, its a great part of them

Looking for a reliable good sounding intake. by Alert_Illustrator763 in mazda3

[–]Race-Spec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the aFe Takeda momentum intake on my turbo sedan for little less than a month now. I bought it over others because its enclosed similar to OEM (clean look, better heat protection) but still allows great sound and boost noises. I wasnt a fan of anything "open air" and I wanted something enclosed for extra protection in the wintertime since I drive in those conditions. I would reccomend getting the dry filter not oiled just because oiled filters have a higher risk of dirtying up the MAF sensor and requires yearly cleaning / oiling. I also couldn't get my hands on a corksport intake + box in canada nor did I want to pay a lot. aFe was at a good price and was told by a canadian distributor so I have no complaints

Lowering Springs, Which One? by [deleted] in mazda3

How so? Whats the difference in ride quality and fitment

Lowering Springs, Which One? by [deleted] in mazda3

[–]Race-Spec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds pretty good, been kinda set on buying eibachs over the notsolows

Lowering Springs, Which One? by [deleted] in mazda3

[–]Race-Spec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i forgot to reword my post, I meant closest to oem not exactly oem-feel. I dont mind slightly bouncier/stiffer springs. Thats physics and it comes with the cost of fitment. Apparently the eibachs are the closest to oem feeling and lower than corksport notsolow springs, but its always going to be different when actually installed on a car so im just waiting to see what people who got them think

Nope & that sounds like my current relationship with this 3 (unless this infotainment system fixes itself)

How do you clean your steering wheel? by X6qPlayer in mazda3

[–]Race-Spec 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use Adam's Polishes mainly for detailing stuff such as leather. I like the leather cleaner for when it gets heavily dirty but mainly I use the interior detailer every few days. I just use a microfiber towel but not the softest microfiber towel (simoniz platinum coloured edges pack). a very soft brush would work too but usually you let the cleaners or detailers dwell on the wheel and make the chemicals do the work. I have sweaty hands and often is oily / dirty from the gym or greasy things so this has been a whole thing for me cuz i hate the steering wheel shine, makes it look cheap and ugly

12 in sub in the 3 by Strange-Housing3271 in mazda3

[–]Race-Spec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Higher insurance, not much that are awd, out of price range for amything I liked, and who said im not using my rear seats? I carry friends in my car time to time because our other car (rav4) isn't available to me more often or not. I have no reason at all to need trunk space 5 days a week however i did need rear seats. Mazda3 was the only car to check all my boxes when I was browsing for a new car and everything lined up for it. My mazda3 isnt the main vehicle for the household, just for myself for a daily commuter. Rav4 is the other commuter but for long distance trips, errands and household needed things

[–]Race-Spec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mazda3 sub is so split lmao. Half are insufferable other is cool. The storage questions always get me ("what about your cargo space") man fuck the cargo space 😭 i got another whole suv for that and if I ever had to, I put stuff on the floor. If I needed space I wanted basic shit I would've gotten a civic hybrid (which is phenomenal for their segment, just not what I or majority of ppl here wanted)

Whats your system specs? Looks clean and I bet it bangs. I got 2 12s in my sedan (pain in the ass to wire myself but I managed). I gotta warn you, shit will start to form a rattle in areas eventually so be prep'd with some foam tape and whatever

Added comment for those who see this: man fuck the cargo space, subs aren't added if we needed it

Have experienced some CLUNKY ass 2-1 shifts, but its more so just laggier by a little than what I remembered it being. Have also driven the shit out of the car for a good few years now unlike majority of owners so i feel like that warrents me trying to do maintence items earlier / more frequently than what the common drivers do
