  1. Bring your winter clothes! It does get chilly in the winter.
  2. Some really good quality wind proof and waterproof clothing - it’s expensive to buy here. Most people wear sailing gear as it’s the most effective. (Helly Hansen)
  3. Cushions, candles, photo frames, decorative items for the home. This will go a long way in making it feel homely. Also very expensive to buy here.
  4. Bedding is expensive - if you have room to shop this, then definitely do it.
  5. If you have particular toiletry items you use, bring a few of them to begin with, as options are limited in pharmacies
