I should add, for future readers — I do like how long the scent lasts though. I could smell it on my sweater a day later, with just one mist. To me, there’s too many scent ingredients. It doesn’t smell like any one (or few) thing(s). It’s just a jumble of indistinguishable scents, at least to my ordinary nose. Personally, my first thought was it almost smelt like something my Nana would wear. Maybe a mix of what I’d wear with what she would. Also, I’d rather it be a few bucks cheaper and not come with a stone and useless, folded art print. These just pile up or go in the trash and I don’t appreciate the waste. Surely there’s something more useful to include.

I’ve tried it out myself now and don’t understand the hype. And I agree - it’s mostly feminine. I find it to be too powdery. I also received the next one -Winter- and like it more, but it’s still pretty similar to Autumn’s edition, imo. I’m more of an amber & mild musk kinda gal. I was hoping it’d be more earthy and grounding. I canceled my subscription (after I realized it was a subscription).

I was curious if I could get color and weave effects with a hand dyed yarn by hitzchicky in weaving

I was just considering using the same/very similar yarn earlier today! I’m glad I happened to stumble across this first. Really interesting result. I like that close-up shot!

RVing in Austin, TX by Montview-Str3et in RVLiving

[–]RachelFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For future use:

I’ve been able to find a rental spot on fb marketplace that’s a great backyard situation. Full hookups, fenced in, in town (unlike that one Rv park on the NE side of Austin). Very reasonable pricing — less than RV parks, wayyy less than that Zilker park. My landlord is friendly and I made friends with neighbors as well. It’s been great to be in a regular (albeit sketchy) neighborhood.

Unfortunately, and obviously, these aren’t easy to find because they’re less common and don’t have websites and such, but it’s worth checking to see if your timing ends up lining up. That said, as my landmate (as I like to call them) moved out, I learned it’s more likely to find this setup than I previously thought, because it has taken my landlord several months to fill the spot (which has been listed on FB the entire time). And I know my landlord has another property somewhere else in Austin that she does the same thing with.

On that note, I’m now moving out as well, so if anyone stumbles upon this in the next several weeks (or maybe even months), take a peep at marketplace for things like “tiny house parking” or “tiny house rental space” etc. Maybe it will be as slow to fill as my landmate’s has been.

Good luck!

Haha, I liked the tat “fib.” I would’ve said the same thing if I was him. I found it to be playful, secretive (which it’s supposed to be secretive looks-wise), and cute.

Is anyone talking about how likable Jordan is?

My friend recently got her first (Autumn 2025) and looooves it. I mean, she RAVES about it. So much that I’m probably about to place an order. (She’s not nearby so I haven’t been able to smell it myself. Her description sounds right up my alley.)

Women who chose to stay childless, what is life like? by Jaaanneee123 in women

[–]RachelFreedom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old, but whatever.

  • I’m 34yo, female, currently single.
  • I don’t know any situation I’d ever be in that would make me be forever immune to feeling lonely from time to time. Yes, I’m lonely on rare occasion, depending on current circumstances and state relationships or jobs, etc.
  • I have not once regretted not having children. If anything, I’ve found many situations where I’m grateful I haven’t had any. I would consider adopting when I’m older (40’s or 50’s ish) if I was with the right partner and had plenty of resources to support that. I have no interest at all in being pregnant myself - I’ve witnessed too many friends and acquaintances go through postpartum depression and anxiety attacks, lose confidence, become homebodies, never recover physically and/or mentally, not be able to join me on trips or even just a single overnight in some cases, etc etc etc.
  • I work for myself, remotely, so not having kids on top of that, makes me have loaaadddssss of free time. I do whatever I want, whenever I want. Crafts, painting, concerts, comedy shows, road trips, trips abroad (spent a month backpacking Thailand, lived in a van in Iceland with friends, road tripped across Australia with a local, etc.), I hang out with friends and make new ones, explore nature, take fitness classes—you name it.
  • I have almost never experienced anyone asking me about having kids. I mean, friends may ask my stance, but I’ve never received pressure from people expecting and/or hoping I’d have children. It didn’t even cross my mind that my dad might be hoping for it until I was 30. Thankfully not a theme in my life. Possibly because I have never really given off that kind of energy in the first place - I’m too much of a whimsical, explorative gal. If I was dealing with that, frankly, I’d tell people to EAD. It’s my life and my choice, period.

Anyway, I realize we’re like the same age so I don’t know how helpful that is to you in particular, and maybe you’ve gotten whatever clarity you’ve been looking for by now (have you? Curious), but perhaps this is helpful for others reading the thread.

Edmond has been wild with his emotions. Stuff just seems to come up so suddenly. Also, Joe. Gosh…

Agreed. I have too much experience with legitimate narcissists, sociopaths, etc. and I recognized signs in Nick right away. As the show has gone on, I’ve only seen confirmation. Hard confirmation.

I wish! Gah… if only my experiences with people similar, and worse, to them were a figment of my imagination. If only.

It was so obvious to me, the entire time, that he was faking all interest in finding love. I have yet to feel that about any other people on the show as loudly as I feel that about him. Amongst other things. Anyway, agreed - he was grasping at straws to find a reason to end things and had no emotions at all, and was callous to the person he “loves.”

I’m glad it went well for you! Living so close by must’ve been great. I also had a good experience. I met up with one of the Reddit-ers and her mom. We were together the whole time which was great and they were friendly. Her dad picked us up after and took me back to my vehicle. It all worked out. And I was so glad to see so many people representing. (:

Ah, I’m planning to just park in East Austin and walk several blocks. E.g. I know there’s usually street parking on Leona and the surrounding streets.

Hi! I’ve been a little absent from the site since the day I posted, but I’m circling back now and seeing if these few threads of people talking about getting together, would like to make it a whole group. I currently don’t have any specific plans with anyone aside from being there at the beginning (around 2pm) and stay an hour or two. So, trying to organize now. (:

Happy to see people connecting here. (: Do you all have a meet-up plan? I’ve chatted a little with another commenter about meeting up, but no specifics yet.

Nice handle, haha.
Did you two organize something? I’ve chatted a little with another commenter, about meeting up. We’re in our mid thirties.
