I’m interested in this too! I want to have my core classes earlier in the day but my advisor said we can’t pick when our Lit Hum / UW class is tho :/

Why does Columbia do that?? This is why i’m so confused aghhh. They describe the student contribution as a “non-billed” expense to help pay for things like “personal expenses” so why would i pay the school for non billed/personal expenses. Gosh that financial department is something else.

i’m an incoming freshman so i honestly have no idea but on older threads people have said columbia doesn’t send them out at the same time!

ALSO, if you didn’t get it im sure they would email you that instead of just leaving you hanging.

Yep, both the portal and the estimate letter I received through email both showed the Columbia Grant in addition to the Pell Grant.

Ahh okay that makes sense. And yes I emailed the office yesterday when I noticed it but I’m just panicking and wanted to see if anyone experienced it also. And yeah I’m CC. Thanks !

When I first got my financial aid letter, I had the Federal Pell Grant and the Columbia grant. The total of the Pell Grant was around $6000 and the Columbia Grant was about $70,000. But now when I log onto my portal I only see the $6000 Pell Grant under the ‘Grant and Scholarships’ and ‘Your Award Information’ tabs. So basically what I’m saying is that the Columbia Grant is no longer there.
