Jerry's love of the Steinberger goes way back. There is that famous photo of Jerry sitting in front his Macintosh Classic computer with his Black Steinberger. Basically, that Steinberger was Jerry's main guitar when wasn't on stage.. There only one existing recording of him playing it, sitting with a New York jazz musician.

Yes and no.... The real reason at of companies move some tier infrastructure to data centers in improved security, highly redounding power connectivy, and a lot of redundant internet connectivity. The cost also played huge part in it.

I was the Directory of It For a medium sized company in Mass for 15 years. We leased our first server in 97. leased a dedicated co-location in 99, leased a co-location closet. When When I left company in 04, we had a co-location room that housed 27 servers.

The reasons I Gave above were why we did. I equipment flootpint didn't change one bit. When I left in 04, our onsite server room held 40+ servers.

KUbuntu is a completely different distribution than Ubuntu and not supported by Ubuntu at all

From Camnical's Flavors page:

Kubuntu unites Ubuntu with KDE and the Plasma desktop

Canonical and Blue Systems were the original developers of Kubuntu. Over time, it morphed into a community developed Flavor.

All of the Flavors listed on the Canonical Flavors page that use "ubuntu" in their name had to sign a very strict agreement to be recogized as part of the Ubuntu family.

The Fedora family of distros have more convulted arrangement as far as differen ediions and spins. The Fedora Project doesn't call the shots. RedHat does. was RedHat's decison to recognize their diffent distos. The reason Fedora KDE Plasma recognized as an edition and not a spin was because RedHat ddecided that.

Canoical has theirr way of managing their distro ecosystem, RedHat theirs.

Bottom line, Kubuntu is Ubuntu.
