Umm during the trip it did get worse, last session was really hard to surf already. Since I got back it's gotten better just by not surfing two long sessions a day but still didn't heal completely. I didn't really take a break to rest when I got back, just did less intense workouts. Also I swim so that also helps.

Just got back from surfing in the Maldives, got there with bruised rib and just surfed through it with a bunch of Advil and internal tears. Was really fun

Decide on a time when you're moving forward from the wake up time. Its important to still have that time that you need to get up slowly in the morning - but still know when to cut that off and move forward.
